So today I look inside my refridgerator and realized that I need to go shopping for food. :(
However, there are some simple ingredients that could still make a great meal.
So today, I made stir-fried potatoes with ikan bilis and egg.
Ingredients:
slice or finely chop the following ingredients:
5 shallots or 1 large onion
4 garlic
2 red chili
4 green chilli
4 large potatoes cut into cubes
1/2 cup ikan bilis (dried anchovies)
4 eggs
1/2 ts salt
a dash of pepper
Instructions:
Heat a wok with a little healthier choice oil and sautee the onion/shallots, garlic, chillies then add in the ikan bilis. After two minutes put in the potatoes and cook until done. Whisk the egg and add in salt and pepper and pour over the potatoes. Cook until done.
I can eat it on its own or with bread or rice. But watch the portion, because this is already loaded with a lot of carbo. I definitely need to go shopping to stock up on food supplies now. (*^_^*) I am looking forward to cooking delicious vegetable dishes to help me lose weight.
