7. There is no food that cannot occasionally be eaten, ~ for example chocolate, cake, dessert, wine. It is the quantity that is critical. Total deprivation can lead to binge eating.
8. Avoid alcohol when dieting. ~ Avoid regular sodas; use sugar-free diet drinks. Limit fruit juice. Be sure to drink adequate water.
9. When dining out, ~ avoid fried and sauce-laden dishes as well as pastries, regular salad dressings and desserts. Eat moderately. Quench your thirst on water, mineral water or low calorie diet drinks.
